MISSOURI CITY, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 29, 2002--MicroLight Corporation of America today announced that Dr. Chadwick F. Smith has joined the company's medical advisory board.

Dr. Smith is professor of orthopedic surgery at the University of Southern California. He is also chairman of the medical advisory board of U.S.C. Keck Medical School. Dr. Smith is president elect of International Musculoskeletal Laser Society, as well as chairman of S.I.C.O.T. (Societe Internationale de Chirugie Orthopedique et de Tramatologie) 2002. He was responsible for starting the American Society of Laser Therapy and establishing the six-hour C.M.E. (Continuing Medical Education) Training Course for the safe and proper use of low level lasers.
